The Annual Topeka Blues Society (TBS) Membership Meeting, Election of the Board, and TBS Blues Challenge are Sunday, Aug. 18th at a new venue, the historic Jayhawk Theatre, 720 SW Jackson St. in Topeka!

Doors open at noon, music (the Blues Challenge) begins at 1:00 p.m, $10 cover. The TBS Membership meeting and Election of the Board will begin at approx. 2:00 p.m.
During the Blues Challenge, there will be a Silent Auction, merchandise sold, new & slightly used blues CD’s for sale, AND $20 raffle tickets will continue to be sold for a unique guitar creation by Joel Edison. (Raffle drawing will be held during the IBC Kick-Off party, January 2020, at the Jayhawk Theatre.)
Regarding Election of the Board: If you are interested in helping keep the blues alive, you can help by serving on the TBS Board (keeping in mind that this is a WORKING Board)! Terms are two years. Please respond to this email if you’d like to be on the ballot. Elections will be during the Membership Meeting.
