We are excited to announce the winners of the 2016 Topeka Blues Society Blues Challenge, held at Uncle Bo’s yesterday:
“Band category”: Frank Ace Blues Band
“Solo/Duo” category: Dan Bliss
Winners will represent the Topeka Blues Society at the International Blues Challenge in Memphis, TN, to be held Jan. 31 – Feb. 4, 2017. Our winners are also awarded a booking at the 2017 Spirit of Kansas Blues Festival, a booking at a 2017 Summertime Blues in Gage Park, and some cash to help with travel expenses to Memphis.
