We are in the dog days of summer, but don’t despair! The third installment of Topeka Blues Society’s FREE Summertime Blues concert series is coming soon in Gage Park! On Wednesday, July 20th, the Ric Barron Band performs, along with another local youth act!

The Ric Barron Band hails from the Greater Topeka/ Kansas City Metro area. Ric Barron is a Kansas Music Hall of Fame inductee for his 20 plus years of work as the lead guitarist for The Exceptions, a very popular band in the Midwest region that is still performing today. The Ric Barron Band plays ROCK-N-ROLL, BLUES, SOUL MUSIC, R & B and FUNK. Band Members are:

Bring your families, young and old, and head to Gage Park for this free concert, presented by the Topeka Blues Society! The Gage Park Amphitheater is at the corner of SW Westlake Ct. & SW Blaisdell Dr., just north of the Blaisdell Family Aquatic Center. Seating available, or bring your own chairs/blankets. Leashed-dog friendly, too!
