Topeka Blues Society (TBS) will host the IBC KICK-OFF PARTY and Guitar Giveaway on Friday, January 27th at Uncle Bo’s. Doors open at 6:30, $8 cover charge for Blues Society members ($10 for non-members).
Two acts are heading to Memphis to represent the TBS in the International Blues Challenge (IBC), Jan. 31-Feb. 4th! Dan Bliss will be in the Solo/Duo challenge, and The Frank Ace Band will be in the Band challenge.
For our Kick-Off Party, they’ll take the stage at Uncle Bo’s, along with Tas Cru & Tortured Souls, Connie & Steve Hawkins, and more! Join us as we wish them well at the IBC!
“BESSIE” GUITAR RAFFLE:
Bessie, a special one-of-a-kind masterpiece guitar built by Joel Edison, will be given away during the Kick-Off party! Raffle tickets for Bessie have been sold since last summer – $20 donation per ticket and just 150 tickets available – and will continue to be sold until the drawing at the Kick-Off party (or until all tickets are sold).
