International Blues Challenge 2013
It is getting closer to the 2013 IBC in Memphis, TN. You have selected your entrants and everyone is excited about the prospects of competing against Blues Artists from around the world.
I have reached out to every challenger who has a website or facebook page, though there are some with neither, who I have not been able to reach.
If you know your representitves do not have either, please reach out to them and have them email me at 2013ibc@musiconthecouch.comso I can ensure they are aware of the webcasts.

Jaunuary 29, 2013 – 9:00pm – Midnight January 30, 2013 – 3:00pm – 6:00pm AND 9:00pm – Midnight January 31, 2013 – 3:00pm – 6:00pm AND 9:00pm – Midnight February 01, 2013 – 3:00pm – 6:00pm AND 9:00pm – Midnight
Then there will be the Wrap-up show where the winners of the challenges as well as the individual award winners will call in: February 04, 2013 – 9:00pm – Midnight

LOCATION The shows on the 29th, 30th, 31st and 1st are webcast LIVE from The Rum Boogie Cafe, 3rd & Beale I will be located in the 2nd Floor Banquet Room, which is up the spiral stairs, past the bar and to the left. (Follow the signs)
I also encourage Society officials and fans to come by and say hi. The purpose of the shows is to let those who can not make it get a feel for the excitment of the week.

HONOR YOUR CHALLENGERS & YOUR SOCIETY
Now, it is also time to consider joining other societies in supplementing ads you may be taking in the official IBC Program.
Last year the show was listened to live or downloaded almost 5,000 times. This year, with the growth in popularity of our weekly show and the good-will from last year, I expect those numbers to be much higher. Since the IBC shows ended in February 2012, Music On The Couch has been listened to live or downloaded over 55,000 times.
Included in each Sponsorship Package is:
- The production of the ad, if you choose. Owner/Host Vinny Bond Marini will take your talking points and build a 30-second spot for you. Once completed, you will be sent a preview of the ad for your approval.
- A graphic link to your website on both the Music On The Couch IBC page, and on the newsletters sent out for the weekly Music On The Couch shows. These begin once you agree to your sponsorship and will remain until March 1, 2013!
- A mention at the end of every weekly Music On The Couch show through the January 28th show and the three February shows after the IBC ends.
- Price guarantee hold for the 2014 IBC. You will receive the 2013 rates next year if you are a sponsor this year. (Note, all 2012 Sponsors will receive the same rate in 2013)
There are four levels of sponsorship, so you should be able to find one to suit your needs and budget. The OTTOMAN, LOVESEAT, COUCH and SECTIONAL Sponsorships. The Sectional Sponsorship comes with category exclusivity.
To ensure a proper job is done on your ad: Closing date for all ads will be January 21, 2013. Closing date for the SECTIONAL PACKAGE is January 2, 2013, as we need to get banners & T-Shirts produced.
