Topeka Blues Society (TBS) is having it’s annual Blues Challenge and Annual Membership Meeting and Election of the Board next month!
BLUES CHALLENGE
If you are a Blues musician (solo, duo or band), and you’ve dreamed of performing on Beale Street, you should enter the Topeka Blues Society’s Blues Challenge, Sunday, August 16th at Uncle Bo’s! Winners will compete at the International Blues Challenge in Memphis next January. Blues acts will be judged using official International Blues Challenge (IBC) rules and the winner(s) will represent TBS in Memphis in 2016!
Doors open at noon and the competition begins at 1:00 p.m.

TBS BOARD ELECTION
At 11:30, immediately preceding the Blue Challenge, The Topeka Blues Society (TBS) will hold its Annual Membership Meeting and Election of the Board. All TBS members are invited to the meeting.
If you are interested in helping keep the blues alive, you can help by serving on the TBS Board. Please send an email to membership@topekabluessociety.org if you’d like to be on the ballot. Elections will be held during the meeting on the 16th.
