4 * The Kris Lager Band -The Kris Lager Band -
Time: 8:30 pm
Blues/Rock/Roots/Soul from Omaha, Nebraska
Kris Lager Band is a Nebraska-born group who have dedicated their lives to playing soulful, original music. These guys have played over 1,000 shows together before coming to Uncle Bo's and the word is getting out that they are both powerful and unique. As working class musicians, the show is constantly evolving as the lines between Rock, Soul, Blues, Zydeco, Reggae, Funk, Salsa, Gospel and Boogie blur into a sound that is truly their own. Kris Lager Band's focus is not only on good sounds but also good songwriting, singing straight from the heart, telling the stories of joy and sorrow. Caught them on the rise now, we have been known to pick some great up and comer's.

25 * The Cate Brothers-The Cate Brothers-
Time: 8:30 pm
Cate Brothers Music from Arkansas
I started begging again this year, please, please, don't forget Topeka! We love you! And they said they would come. For two nights in May and two nights in September, I don't think it can get much better than that. The Cate Brothers have their own sound that can never be compared to anyone, it just brings goose bumps to your arms. "Union Man" was just one of their hits in the 60's and they have played with everyone.....Fleetwood Mac, Beach Boys, the president - you just can't get any better than this.
See you there both nights!
